I was lucky this year and was able to make almost $800 at the city-wide garage sale. Ironically, that is the exact amount of my taxes this year!! They were going to be twice that but, after talking with Richard Dixon at H&R Block on Kennedy Way, I was able to write off my move as an adjustment. This is the first year that I was not able to use the EZ forms, and I was understandably worried about how to fill out all the forms. Mr. Dixon patiently gave me a tutorial in non-EZ taxes. Although I didn't use his services officially, I will definitely use him when my future taxes get more complicated.
